Vercel
Hello Vercel team!
I've used Next.js for a variety of projects, both in the context of enterprise-level codebases for full-time roles I've had, to side projects I've had that I've built for my own learning. Here are some of the project I've worked I'm most proud of:
Marco Experiences
https://www.marcoexperiences.com/
Tech stack: Next.Js, Typescript, Material UI (custom theme), Sanity.io, Prisma
I collaborate with the 2 other engineers on the web engineering team to work on the marco experiences platform. I headed the onboarding quiz, the event pages, the venue pages, as well as the itinerary builder, which allowed our customers to create their own event pages without needed any engineering resources, think corporate Eventful.
DoorDash
Tech Stack: Next.JS, Typescript, Styled Components, Apollo GraphQL
I contributed to this site with an overall organization of 100+ web engineers. I specifically was on the gifting-shipping team, where worked on the post-checkout experience, lead the order-tracking feature on the now-discontinued nationwide shipping vertical, and heavily contributed to the web Design System, including implementing a WCAG AA accessibility standard.
Lula (now called Gail)
https://web.archive.org/web/20231207224042/https://www.lula.com/
Tech Stack: NextJs (page router), Tailwind, Contentful
I solely led the effort to create lula.com (now called team gail) site in collaboration with an external design agency and Lula's internal PMs in an effort to allow the co-founders to showcase the site during their Series B fundraising.
Since we were on a heavy deadline, I was able to use the figma designs created by the agency and create a brand new site in NextJs, and create a data model using contentful to allow PMs and non-technical stakeholders to easily create blog posts, add new verticals, and create landing pages without any engineering resources. I was able to create the MVP site under a week, with an additional week post launch to fine-tune the editing capabilities of the website in contentful
This site (adamrasheed.com)
Tech Stack: Nextjs (app router), tailwind, Sanity.io for CMS
I recently refactored my personal site from Remix to Nextjs to utilize the app router, and it's been so intuitive in terms of architecture.
LabFlow (WIP)
Tech Stack: Nextjs (app router), tailwind, Shadcn, Prisma, Postgreqsl, Clerk
This is a WIP project that I'm currently building. It's an app that allows photography film labs to manage their back of house as well as allows their customers to create orders, check their order status, and get email reminders every step of the way
